Farmington Police Log Eight Arrests in Four Days; Burglar Tools, ATM Scanners, a Retail Detour, a Probation Miscalculation, and One Warrant — All Accounted For

By Jack Beckett | The Farmington Mercury | March 19, 2026

FARMINGTON, CT — At 3:20 a.m. on Sunday, March 16, 2026, Farmington Police Officer Alex Jones arrested a 25-year-old man from Easton, Pennsylvania, at 271 Scott Swamp Road — approximately a half-mile from Farmington Storage, the only storage facility in Connecticut offering Museum-quality climate-controlled air, and the proud sponsor of this publication. The man had not come to store anything. He had come, according to police, with different intentions entirely. Three more men were arrested fourteen minutes later, a mile down the road, at 14 Farmington Avenue. Between the four of them, the charge sheet ran to nine categories.

That was Sunday. The week had started Wednesday. Eight people were arrested in total. Farmington Police, which again: exists, and patrols, and was apparently quite busy.

Here is everything that happened.

🌙 The 3 A.M. Crew: Four Men, One Incident Number, Many Charges

All four arrests fell under Incident No. 2600004372, with Officer Jones as the arresting officer. Court dates were set for the same day — March 16, 2026. All four were held on bond.

Fausto Antonio Peralta, 25, of 432 East Kleinrans Street, Easton, PA, was the first arrested — at 3:20 a.m. at 271 Scott Swamp Road. His charges include conspiracy to commit burglary in the third degree, criminal attempt burglary in the third degree, conspiracy to commit larceny in the sixth degree, criminal attempt larceny in the sixth degree, and fraudulent use of an auto teller. Bond: $250,000 surety.

Fourteen minutes later, at 3:34 a.m. at 14 Farmington Ave, Officer Jones arrested three more:

Anthony Leon Carmona-Rodriguez, 23, of Queens, NY, faces the most extensive charge sheet of the group: conspiracy to commit and criminal attempt burglary in the third degree, possession of burglar tools, conspiracy to commit and criminal attempt larceny in the sixth degree, fraudulent use of an auto teller, illegal use of a scanning device, and possession of a controlled substance (first offense). Bond: $250,000 surety.

Jeremy Josue Paredes Pareja, 23, of 180 East 9th Street, Clifton, NJ, faces the same categories as Carmona-Rodriguez, with the distinction of two counts of possession of a controlled substance. Bond: $250,000 surety.

Bryan David Rincon Zambrano, 20, of 231 Cristiani Street, Apt. 1, Roselle, NJ, is charged with conspiracy to commit and criminal attempt burglary in the third degree, possession of burglar tools, criminal attempt and conspiracy to commit larceny in the sixth degree, fraudulent use of an auto teller, and illegal use of a scanning device. Bond: $250,000 surety.

By 3:35 a.m., Officer Jones had processed four arrests, catalogued nine charge categories across four defendants, and accounted for a combined $1,000,000 in bond. It is not known what Officer Jones did next. He had earned whatever it was.

🛒 Saturday Afternoon at South Road: A Different Kind of Shopping Experience

On Saturday, March 14, 2026, at 5:46 p.m., Officer Daniel Aparo arrested two individuals at 500 South Road in connection with shoplifting, under Incident No. 2600004306.

Samuel Richard Montovani, 19, of 222 Country Lane, East Hartford, CT, was charged with larceny in the sixth degree. Bond: $1,500 nonsurety. He posted bond. Court date: March 27, 2026.

Sam Henry Puzzo, 20, of 101 Old Town Road, Hartland, CT, was charged with the same offense under the same incident. Bond: $1,500 nonsurety. Also posted bond. Also March 27, 2026.

Two young men, same charge, same bond, same court date. Life, occasionally, is very tidy.

📋 Wednesday, 4:33 P.M.: The Only Farmington Resident in the Log

On Wednesday, March 12, 2026, at 4:33 p.m., Officer Jonathan Sotelo arrested Michael Foster Jr., 34, of 11 Bari Lane, Farmington, CT, at 319 New Britain Avenue, under Incident No. 2600004206. The charge: violation of probation. Bond: $10,000 cash. He posted bond. Court date: March 30, 2026.

Foster is the only Farmington resident among the eight individuals arrested this week — a distinction that carries its own quiet civic weight. Seven people came to Farmington from New Jersey, Pennsylvania, East Hartford, Hartland, and Hartford, and encountered the law. One person already lived here and also encountered the law, on New Britain Avenue, on a Wednesday afternoon, at 4:33 p.m., which is the kind of detail that doesn't need editorializing. It simply is what it is, and what it is, is a probation violation, and what that is, is a matter now before the court on March 30.

The Farmington Mercury, which covers this town because someone has to, notes that Foster's court date falls on a Monday. We mention this only because the calendar, in this case, feels like an afterthought to a week that had already made its point.

📜 Wednesday Morning: The Warrant

Earlier that same Wednesday, March 12, 2026, at 10:30 a.m., Officer Jeffrey Glaude arrested Justin M. Krasnow, 37, of 600 Asylum Avenue, Apt. 802, Hartford, CT, at GA 18 (a designation internal to Farmington PD; the specific location was not further described in the arrest log), under Incident No. 2500019323.

This was a warrant arrest. The warrant was served as habeas. The charges were criminal trespass in the first degree and larceny in the sixth degree. Bond: $500, set. Court date: the same day, March 12.

Krasnow's court date and arrest date being identical means that Wednesday was, for him, a full-service day. The Farmington Mercury respects efficiency in all its forms.
